Saturday

I found out on Wednesday that Tracy's pregnant.  I'm happy for her, but a little envious.  Her initial announcement tugged at my heart-strings, but it was only for a split second.  I'm already planning all sorts of sewn goodness to give her.  How long until you find out whether it's a boy or girl? c'mon Trace I need to know....

We brought Red Dog home and buried him yesterday.  Initially Pets In Peace had picked him up from the vet, and were going to cremate him and return his ashes, but on Friday I had a change of heart.  Scott wanted to see him one last time, so we went down there, and saw him.  He looked so peaceful, and perfect, just lying there.  In the car on the way home, I just couldn't bear the thought of him being cremated.  So they brought him home to us, and we buried him.  We both feel so much better now, knowing he's home.

Our appointment at the IVF clinic is on 24th Oct, I've been trying to get Scott to discuss and decide on what exactly we want to do and get out of the appointment, but he says he's too upset to discuss it.  I just want to make the appointment count, and be sure that we can move the whole process forward, instead of infernally treading water, and never appearing to move anywhere.

Aparently because we are going to be using donor sperm, we have to undergo all sorts of counselling and stuff, which I'm glad for - perhaps they will raise issues we haven't even thought of.

Tracy and I are going baby shopping today.

The concrete cutters and coming today to cut a hole in my house!  As part of the deck building project, we need to cut a door in our dining room so that we can have access to the deck.  I am dreading the mess and the noise.  And shit guys! It's 8am, and I just want to watch my girls and have a coffee at this time fo the morning.  Because our house is double brick, creating a hole in a wall is serious business.

Van received my swap - so I can finally post pictures.  I'm so pleased she received it, it was such a pleasure to collect all the fabrics and make all the little bits and pieces to send off to her. Here's a pic of the swap I sent.

I use too many commas.

I am glad to hear that you could bring Red Dog home to rest.

No, you don't, in my opinion, use too many commas, however, I may be wrong.

l,o,l. I, don't think I use too many commas, but others might. I know that I use too many - whatever the case may be with the commas.

My overuse of commas came from learning typing. Where the damn things were in every part of a sentence just to give your fingers practice at typing the commas and for no other reason. Well that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
