"I weep for the future"

I wept through an entire Oprah episode yesterday.  It was an Oprah special on "Children who Changed the World" or some such.  These days anything to do with children just gets me going, but this this one just plunged that "no baby for you" knife deep into my chest.  I can't even begin to go into the minutiae of the show, only that part of it dealt with adoption of Chinese children.  Every now and again, the pain and saddness of being childless (and possibly being this way forever) hits home, and the tears and emotion flow.

I don't know what to say, but your post made me very sad and thankful at the same time.One thing I will say is Oprah is dangerous! I can't get through an episode without crying either no matter what it's about.Anyway, I'm sending you my best wishes...

I have a son, but my husband and I have been trying for another for nearly a year and a half unsuccesfully. Now it seems like everyone I know is getting pregnant: three good friends, a sister in law, a neighbor ... sometimes I just sit down in the bathroom and cry, and that Oprah brought it out of me, too. Hang in there!

(That's what everyone keeps telling me, anyway)
