I was in the supermarket yesterday, and I overheard something that made me get all, well, choked up really.
Mum hugging her teenage son, "I love you bub, and love is all we need."
I'm pretty sure she didn't mean for it to be overheard (I just happened to be leaning over to grab a magazine from the "impulse rack"), but I found it really touching.
I made something. Finally.
For the Happy Zombie swap. The recipe I sent was for "Buuuuurrrrgahs" (Burgers). These burgers seem to be everyone's favourite. Like everything I make it's pretty much a case of chucking in whatever is in the cupboard and fridge. The only constants in the recipe are "Smokey BBQ Sauce", and ground cumin. Apart from that they're different each time. In any case everyone loves them.
I sort of stuffed up on the pot-holder though. When I made the hang-up loop I sewed it on the bottom corner - so if it's hung up the pictures are upside down. d'oh. It looks kinda good in the picture though.
